Medicine with a holistic view – Science to empower Women.

A holistic view on women’s health in science & practice

I am committed to a holistic approach to women’s health – well-founded, clear, and relatable. Because only when knowledge is accessible can real change occur.

In doing so, I consistently adhere to the three pillars of Evidence-Based Medicine:

● the patient’s individual wishes
● the practitioner’s experience
● current scientific findings

Integrative Women’s Health – A Multi-faceted Perspective

If the goal is true health, well-being, and a balanced life for women, we need medicine that looks beyond diagnoses and treatments. Modern women’s health needs an approach that builds bridges: between research and practice, professional groups and patients, and evidence and empathy.

Integrative women’s health combines modern diagnostics with holistic methods and places the patient at the center of her entire life. It is based on well-founded scientific findings, considers biographical influences, and creates space for a versatile, individually tailored treatment.

Mind & Body

Body and mind are inextricably linked. I view health holistically and integrate proven methods such as Qi Gong, breathing exercises, or models from psychosomatics.

Plurality of Therapies
There isn’t one right therapy. I combine modern medicine with complementary healing methods such as acupuncture, herbal medicine, and osteopathic approaches – individually tailored.
Biographical Context

Every patient has a unique life story. I consider biographical influences to view symptoms not in isolation, but within their personal context.

Interprofessional Collaboration
Health is teamwork. I work closely with psychologists, osteopaths, midwives, and other specialists to ensure the best possible care.
Evidence-Based

My work is based on scientific studies, many years of clinical experience, and the individual needs of patients – the three pillars of evidence-based medicine.

Vitality
Health is more than the absence of disease. I support women in strengthening their inner balance and sustainably maintaining and promoting their vitality.

My Work

In my work, I combine research, medical practice, and interdisciplinary collaboration to shape women’s health that is well-founded, individual, and effective.

I conduct research on topics that truly affect women – from the placenta as a remedy to postpartum health. I give lectures and workshops to make knowledge accessible and bring evidence-based women’s health into practice. And I advocate for integrative care that combines modern diagnostics with proven healing methods.

From my perspective, science, experience, and the individual needs of women should be equally considered. This creates a medicine that enables true health and well-being with mutual respect.

Networking, Inspiration & Exchange

The network consists of various professions with diverse backgrounds: physicians, midwives, osteopaths, psychotherapists, and other healthcare professions.

What’s special: we exchange ideas on equal terms, take each other seriously, and learn from one another.

If you are from a therapeutic field related to women’s health and would like to join the network, please feel free to contact us via the contact form.

Placenta Power
Well-founded knowledge about an underestimated organ

The placenta is the miracle organ of pregnancy – and the subject of diverse scientific research to learn more about maternal and child health.
As part of my 10-year research activity at the Placenta Laboratory of Jena University Hospital, I have focused on the application of human placenta as a remedy. Various integrative and traditional medical concepts document the benefits of processed placenta – among other things, for strengthening the mother during the postpartum period.
My aim is to build a bridge between modern basic research and traditional medicine and to separate myths from facts.
In the book “Placenta Power”, I want to make my scientific work and the results of the experiments and studies (developed and conducted together with biologist Jana Pastuschek) tangible: well-founded, scientific, and practical.
